The International Academy of Sapporo is located in Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaidō Prefecture in Japan. It was first founded in 1974 as a private boarding school catering for local students. However, due to a decreasing number of students during the 1990’s, the school reverted to a public and International boarding school in the early 21st century that opened its doors to foreign students.
One change often triggers many others, and within a few years, a select few foreign and local students had developed a school gang – Plutonium. It started off innocent enough, simply as a place to rebel against the school system, a place for smoking and drinking, but it soon grew into something much more dangerous. Under the influence of a local criminal organisation, it became an underground society itself, specialising in drug trafficking and other illegal activities around campus.
However, the Student Council of the International Academy of Sapporo (IAS) could not simply watch as their beloved school broke open into chaos. Thus, they themselves formed a group designed specifically to foil and go against Plutonium’s plans. Consisting of many of the affectionately called 'nerds' and 'geeks' of the school, this new group is really a force to be reckoned with.
Matters got even more out of hand as attacks started against students, ultimately dividing the school in two – the good and the bad. Many students have been pulled out of the school as the school’s reputation deteriorated by their parents, but what of those who don’t have anywhere else to go? Or those that really just don't give d**n as their school goes up in flames? And what if even the staff are in on this, divided along the distorted labels of good and bad?
Though the thing that tugs at the hearts of the students the most is whether or not their very own acquaintances and close friends are who they really seem to be... Suspicions and further rivalry have started to arise in accordance to the planting of 'spies' amongst the groups. To many, school won't ever be the same again...
Friendships will be strained and loyalties will be tested.
CAN YOU HANDLE THIS SOCIETY OF DECEPTION?
