1954 - The two buildings of Mason's Proper Living School for Young Gentlemen and Young Ladies burned to the ground in a fire. 41 people were found dead, including the headmaster, headmistress, and the entire student body, aside from one student- a Marsha Greenfield. She was much hated among the population, and she was accused and later convicted of starting the fire. She was given a life sentence.
1986 - Marsha Greenfield escaped from prison. She was found two weeks later dead on the abandoned plot that once was her school campus. A note was found near the body, stating that she had seen the ghost of her old headmistress who was 'out to get her.' The cause of death could not be determined.
2003 - Alana Mason, the daughter of the headmaster and headmistress of the old school, decided that she wanted to start a private school based off of the one her parents had run. She decided to preserve the old format of the campus with two large houses that served as both dorms and class buildings, but she decided to modernise it a bit- she eliminated uniforms, and put both boys and girls on the same curriculum, though their dorms remained in separate houses. The school opened successfuly in September as a high school.
2008 - The new school year began at New Challenge Academy and Leadership School for Young Men and Women. It seemed as though it would be an ordinary year, until the students started to notice something strange. Sometimes, items would be in a totally different place from where they left them. Sometimes, doors and windows would open and close out of nowhere. And one of the students found their names crossed off on their door, and a different name written in.
It seemed as though just a second ago they had all been on fire. There had been a smell of burning flesh on the air, and the bright flames had cracked ever closer to the students who had still been left unharmed. But then, all of the sudden, they woke up in their dorm rooms- as if it had been a dream. Only it hadn't been. Though similar to what they had originally had, their school was now all too different, all too strange. Not only were there bizarre pieces of technology beyond their wildest dreams, but there were other people there too, people wearing the strangest and most shocking fashions who didn't even seem to see them. And those new students were living in their dorm rooms. No matter how hard they tried, the 1954 students could not come in contact with these strange new people who had taken over their school, though they could still talk to each other. What was going on? How had they gotten to this strange parallel dimension? No one had the solution.
With the ghosts of old students trying to figure out why their school is so different and the new students trying to figure out what is wrong with their school, there is bound to be a conflict of interests.
